Overview
The YC-03D electric degasser is designed for continuous extraction of gas from drilling mud in oilfield mud logging applications. It combines a gas-collection chamber, explosion-protected motor, agitator and height-adjustment mechanism in a compact assembly.
The unit supports the gas treatment sequence of degassing, drying and cleaning before the sample gas is delivered to downstream analysis equipment.
Specifications
Power supply: three-phase 380 V, 50 Hz.
Motor and agitator speed: 1,400 r/min.
Gas-collection chamber height adjustment: at least 300 mm.
Motor power: 0.37 kW.
Explosion-protection marking: Ex d IIB T4 Gb.
Total equipment weight: less than 30 kg.
Gas treatment process: degassing, drying and cleaning.
Product features
The height of the gas-collection chamber can be adjusted with the handwheel without tools when mud flow conditions change. The mounting arrangement supports square or round mud tanks.
A mud shield in the collection chamber helps prevent drilling fluid from entering the gas line. The main structure and components are made from stainless steel for corrosion resistance and easier maintenance.
Installation and operation
The unit may be shipped in separate components for transport. After assembly, verify that the agitator rotates in the correct direction. If rotation is reversed, qualified electrical personnel can correct the phase sequence by interchanging two phase conductors.
Tighten the explosion-protected junction-box cover and cable entry after wiring, and connect protective earth correctly. Check the gas line for leakage before operation.
Do not operate the unit with phase imbalance, phase loss or incorrect supply frequency. Set the immersion depth so that drilling fluid cannot splash over the internal mud shield, and regularly remove accumulated sand from the collection chamber.
Quotation check: legacy specifications may be incomplete or outdated. Confirm operating range, output signal, materials, hazardous-area requirement, documentation, and certification for the current order.
